Professional pilots train regularly for unexpected events that might occur during flight. How often do you consider what might happen during a routine general aviation flight that would be anything but routine? At every Chapter 1083 EAA IMC-VMC Club meeting, we discuss 1 or more real-world scenarios that a pilot experienced and submitted to EAA. The goal of the meetings is to help us all fly more safely and efficiently by discussing how you and your fellow pilots might deal with the situation. The discussions are friendly, informative and may plant a seed of an idea that could save you precious seconds should you experience a similar, stressful situation.
Everyone is welcome – you do not have to be an EAA member – but you can obtain a free 6 month membership in EAA just by attending. (Ask you Host)
